This is the annual Pasalamat of La Carlota which is fast approaching. This week-long festival with a lot of funs and surprises is usually held at the last week of April of every year.

Again all roads are leading to the small city of La Carlota on the last week of April and the festivity will be culminated Sunday.
Within the week, visitors in and out of the country would be delighted and entertained of variety of funs like agro-industrial exhibits, trisikad race, on-the-spot painting contest, search for Pasalamat Qeen Festival, street dancing competition, caricature, awit-sayaw contest, rhythm competition, among others.

ReplyDeleteThe best way to get a place recognized is through festivals and i think the local government is doing well. But well-planned media exposures can do great things for the locals. Maybe next year, the mayor can invite TV media to cover the event? I suggest Mark Logan. hehe ;)
