Rain or Shine La Carlota Pasalamat Still On The Go!

One of the highlights of La Carlota Pasalamat Festival is Arena Dance Competition, which usually run for 10 to 12 minutes.

Grand arena dance competition participated in by more than 20 organized tribes concludes the week-long Pasalamat festival of La Carlota.

Every tribe did its best to beat other competing dancing tribes. These dances dare the nature, rain or shine.

The following tribal dancers came from Barangay Yubo, one of the 14 barangay of La Carlota. They're not bothered by the heavy downpour as they're about to finish their entry dance showdown.

An amateur video on Senakulo (3-act play) on Jesus' arrest, sentence, suffering, and crucifixion portrayed by the youths and adults of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Catholic Church in Brgy. La Granja, La Carlota, Negros Occidental, PH. The dialogue is in local dialect, Ilonggo.

Follows the last part of 3-act play of the talented youths and adults of Barangay La Granja, La Carlota City, Philippines under the supervision and direction of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Catholic Church, depicting Jesus Christ false accusation, capture, sentence to death, and crucifixion as the culmination of the annual Holy Lent observation, Holy Friday. This is an amateur video taken by a video enthusiast/hobbiest, Gil Camporazo of La Carlota City, Philippines.
